You can be the King of the Jungle! Create your own awesome lion mask.

Soft felt conforms to the face and sits comfortably. Elastic band at the back for a comfortable, multi-size fit. Great for make believe and dress up fun.

Difficulty Rating: Little Bit Tricky (Intermediate). If your idea of fixing the hem on a garment is to tape it up rather than sew it, this is definitely NOT the project for you. If the idea of darts and using weed whacker/whipper snipper cord in a project interests you, have a go at this project!

Diagrams of how to do stitches are also included in the pattern for those of us who regularly think, "Now running stitch..... Which one is that?"

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 1 size fits all children from 2 years right up to some adults

  • 1 sheet each of 1.2mm thick felt in gold, orange and bright orange
  • scraps of white and dark brown felt
  • sewing thread in gold, orange and dark brown or black

  • weed whacker cord

  • sewing needle and scissors
