Pattern Description:

This soft doll pattern came about because my daughter wanted a red girl kitty for her birthday! It is my own design.

The pattern shows you how to make a 21 inch girlie cat doll with a removable beret, skirt, and shoes. It also includes a bonus pattern for a double-breasted coat and scarf! Katy Kitty would be a special handmade gift for a little one in your life.

Both patterns are in PDF format, so you can print them from your own printer at home on regular paper.

Included in each pattern are color pictures, detailed step-by-step instructions and illustrations. These patterns are written for folks who have had some basic sewing experience and are familiar with common sewing terms.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

21 inch (53 cm) finished doll

Materials:

1/2 yard small wale corduroy, 1/3 yard of woven cotton, fat quarter for socks, seven charm squares for skirt and sleeves
Two 8x12 inch pieces of wool felt for beret, scraps of wool felt in two colors for shoes, scraps of wool felt for face, ears and hair, scraps of wool felt for eyes
Bonus coat pattern: 1/2 yard felt

You Will Also Need:

31 inches of 1/2 double fold bias tape
12 inches of 1/4 inch elastic
four buttons
yarn for beret pom
14 inches 3/8 inch ribbon for beret
Coordinating thread and embroidery floss
HeatnBond Lite for face
fabric glue and poly stuffing
Bonus coat pattern: six buttons, roll of grosgrain ribbon, two snaps, yard of cotton webbing
