Pattern Description:


Reels, Jigs, Slip Jigs, Treble Jigs, Hornpipes. Get your doll ready for Feis (pronounced "fesh", which means competition) This fitted Solo dress features princess seams, dropped waist, gathered skirt and flared sleeves.

TIP: You can use more than one type of fabric to create a different
look. For example, the sleeves and sides can be one fabric, and the
front and back another. You are only limited by your imagination.

Embellishments in this document are actually purchased embellishments from a craft store that are used to adorn headbands.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • *high-end velvet is unsuitable due to its thickness


  • Bodice Sleeves & Cape: 1/2 yard of: satin, crushed velvet*,
  • velveteen*, shantung.
  • Bloomers and Lining: 1/2 yard of cotton fabric
  • Suggested Fabrics for skirt are satin, taffeta, lace, and chiffon

You Will Also Need:

  • 1/4 yard Fusible light to medium weight interfacing
  • Iron-on or sew-on embellishments or trims of your choice
  • 1/2" velvet ribbon
  • Velcro(r)
  • 1/4" elastic
  • 3/8" elastic
  • Thread
  • Purchased barrette that can be decorated
  • Optional: Heat Set Crystals and Heat Set Tool
