Pattern Description:

Huggable, warm hippo for you to sew on your own!
Finished size: Approx 22"

Pattern to make your own plush heating pad. Can also be used as a pajama bag! Includes details instructions for making this adorable, versatile animal. Inner bag may also be used in the freezer. Great for aches and pains, menstrual cramps and cold toes! When cooled it's wonderful for soothing fevers, bug bites etc.


  • 20" of 60" wide fabric. Minky suggested
  • 8.5"x11" cotton or flannel for the heating pad
  • Optional safety eyes
  • Optional Wool Felt for making eyes
  • 9" lenght of Velcro
  • 4" length of 1/2" white ribbon for teeth

You Will Also Need:

  • Polyester (or alternative) stuffing
  • Heating Pad filler (ie: rice, corn, flax seed etc)
