small skill level requirement Beginner

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • If you can sew - you can sew a soft toy! No fancy stitches are needed - just straight lines - so it's a fun simple project!

Pattern Description:

Raff is the latest addition to the Funky Friends Factory "Out of Africa" range. He is a simple pattern and will look great in all sorts of colours. You can also use felt for the spots, if you prefer, but I think it's clever to use up your scraps of light brown fleece! I like to keep things simple so I used squares for his spots, BUT I know that some people would prefer giraffe-shaped spots so I have also included some templates in the patter that are based on the spots of a real giraffe!

Hi I'm Pauline,
My granny taught me to sew when I was about 7 and I have been making my own dolls and toys ever since!
I began making ?baby-safe bunnies? for my friends? newborn babies with sewn on faces and no choke-able bits, and have been designing my Funky Friends for about 10 years now!
I hope you'll enjoy my critters as much as I do!
