These precious pillows are easy to make. The animals are fun and functional - a soft pillow for resting and an adorable toy. Your favorite girl or boy will love carrying these sweet animals around.

Sample animals are made from fleece which makes them very soft! Cotton fabrics are used for eyes, giraffe spots and inside elephant ears. Baby rick rack is used for mouth lines on giraffe and hippo. All sewing is done by machine. There aren't any attached embellishments which makes them safe for toddlers (although, toddlers should always be watched carefully with toys).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Standard 14" x 14" and 12" x 16" pillow forms are used to fill the bodies of the elephant, hippo and giraffe.

Materials:

Cotton fabric - 3" x 6" rectangle for eyes, 2" x 4" rectangle for eye pupils, 9" x 10" rectangle for giraffe spots, 1/8 yard for inside of elephant ears
Double sided iron-on fusible web - amount varies - a 9" x 12" rectangle is the largest amount needed
Pillow form - 14" x 14" square for elephant & hippo, 12" x 16" rectangle for giraffe (or use polyester fiberfill to stuff animal)
Polyester fiberfill (to stuff legs)
Baby rick rack - 11" piece
