Pattern Description:

The Garage & Go has been kid tested and it passed with flying colors! This pattern features a playmat with a road that includes some construction cones and 4 fun scenes: a house with an opening door, a gas station with a nozzle to fill cars up with gas, a playground with a stoplight and swings, and a car wash with bubbles and flaps that lift! The other side of the mat has pockets to store up to 10 cars. When the kids are finished playing, the mat folds in half and has handles making it convenient for trips to the doctor, quiet playtime, or travel.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 14" x 17"


  • 1/2 yard gray or black cotton fabric (A) for playmat side
  • 1/2 yard non-directional cotton fabric (B) for storage side
  • 1/4 yard contrasting cotton fabric (C) for storage pockets
  • fusible web for appliques

You Will Also Need:

  • mini flower or round buttons for flowers on house
  • clear sequins for car wash bubbles
  • 3" end cut from a shoe lace for gas nozzle
  • 28" l x 5/8" w hook and loop tape
  • 41" of 7/8" ribbon for carrying handles and pockets
