This Fairy doll will dance its way into your child's heart at any hour. Using the Kids-at-Heart cloth doll base body, you add wings and spritely overalls. Make the doll from a skin tone or a color from nature.

The downloadable PDF provides illustrated step-by-step instructions & templates for the doll, wings, overalls, hair and face.

Kids-at-Heart dolls are 16" (42cm) and are easily made with just 1/3 yard/metre of fabric plus new or repurposed fabric for clothing.

  • Fabric:
  • Body: 1/3 yard/ metre
  • Overalls: 12" x 28" (30cm x 71cm)
  • Wings: 9" x 14" (23cm x 36cm)

You Will Also Need:

  • Ric rac or other edging: 1 yard/ metre
  • 1/4" (7mm) elastic: 15: (38cm)
  • 2 buttons
  • Feather yarn and kitting needles size 11
  • OR feather yarn scarf for upcycling into hair
  • Embroidery floss for the face
  • Toy stuffing
  • Natural dry beans (optional)
