Here is an Easy-Peasy Doll Diaper Pattern, it is super simple - 2 layers of fabric -
no seaming, no turning
- 15 minutes and done!
The diapers work great for many size dolls with no extra bulk and easy for kids to use.
The PDF includes sewing directions and actual size templates for 2 sizes of diapers. Large diaper fits 12"-17" waist Small diaper fits 9"-12.5" waist
1/2 yard cotton interlock knit fabric * / sewing thread / 3/4" Velcro(r) 7" large diaper - 5" for small / sewing machine with Overedge or ZigZag stitch / printer (or access to one) / clear tape / water soluble fabric marker / straight pins / scissors / pattern weights
Alternate fabric options: cotton prints, flannel, try 2 different fabrics each side, classic birdseye diaper fabric, fleece or reuse old cloth diapers or fabric from existing garments or old sheets. If the fabric is thick, use only one layer. Consider using Velcro(r) or thread in a contrasting color.
