Make your own checkerboard set to take with you on the road!
Set includes instructions to make your own standard game board of 8 squares by 8 squares. Neatly tucks into a lined drawstring bag so you can take it with you for a day at the beach or the park.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Checkerboard: 16.5 inch square
- Large Drawstring Bag: 11.5 inch square
- Small Drawstring Bag: 6.5 inch square
Materials:
- Fat Quarter for Dark or Solid Fabric
- Fat Quarter for Light or Print Fabric
- Fat Quarter of Backing Fabric
- Batting (you will need an18-inch square)
- Fat Quarter of Binding Fabric
- Large Drawstring Bag: 1/2 Yard outer and lining fabrics
- Large Drawstring Bag: 1/2 Yard Flannel
- Small Drawstring Bag: Fat Quarter of outer and lining fabrics
You Will Also Need:
- 2 Drawstrings or Shoelaces
- 64 wood circles, 1.5 inch diameter
- Drawstring Toggle (optional)
