(9) Name: 'Sewing : Bucky the Bull Stick Animal
Bucky the Bull Stick Animal

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Use a sewing machine and glue gun.

Pattern Description:

When we began our annual Stick Horse Rodeo at the school where I taught, I made stick horses and that was when I picked up my scissors and cut to make my first bucking bull pattern. I was pleased with the results and so were the young cowboys. It was amazing to watch the cowboys come out of our real, small scale chute, on their wild and crazy bucking bulls. Those bulls tried so hard to throw their riders off and some were successful. I have spent my entire life teaching and working with young children. They love to pretend and make believe. Stick animals provide a way for them to enjoy their play. The bucking bull is one of five patterns I have made in my Rodeo/Farm Series of patterns.
