Pattern Description:

Designer Babies! Make your own Pupadou cloth baby-doll!

Chose your colors, fabric prints, and design details! You could even use up some of that fabric stash! Makes a great hand-made gift.

Baby is 10" (25cm) tall finished, and is best made using quilt-quality 100% cotton fabric. Many options and "add-ons" are included with this pattern including spiked yarn hair, 3 different hats (2 are made from socks!) cloth bows, and pockets.

This PDF sewing pattern includes a very detailed, well illustrated, step-by-step tutorial.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 10" (25cm) finished


  • Skin (head, hands, ears): cotton: 11" x 9" (28cm x 23cm)
  • Body: cotton: 11" x 17" (28cm x 43cm)
  • Cloth hat option: cotton: 9"x 11" (23cm x 28cm)
  • Sock hat option: 1 sock
  • Small scraps for optional pocket and bows
  • Eyes: 1" square of black felt
  • Polyester fibrefil stuffing
  • Yarn for hair

You Will Also Need:

  • Thread to match
  • Optional: Applique for front, decorative buttons, ribbon, lace, etc.
  • Fray-Stop/Fray-Check or similar product
  • Pinking shears for notching curves (optional)
  • Hemostat to help with stuffing (optional)
  • Fabric glue
  • Pink blush (optional)
