Cute dog pajama pattern for your little dog! These dog pajamas are made of stretch knit and have snap closures at the chest (or Velcro may be substituted). The little girl pajamas have sweet ruffles, lace & ribbon trim on the legs and neck. The little boy pajamas have soft knit cuffs and collar. The pattern uses FOE (fold over elastic) on the belly opening to give your dog a perfect fit. There is no need to remove the pajamas when your dog needs to potty or poo because of the tail & belly opening.
The little dog clothes pattern includes easy to read instructions and photos. Also included are cutting layouts, a notions list & necessary fabric yardage.
This is a PDF sewing pattern. The patterns & instructions are computer drawn & written. Patterns are not refundable due to their digital nature.
Selecting the proper size pattern is important so please read the following carefully. When selecting a pattern choose the one that will give your dog the best overall fit. Girth is most important then the Neck and then Length.
How to measure your Dog (do not pull tape measure too tight)
NECK: Measure around the widest part of the neck where collar sits.
GIRTH: Measure behind front legs where chest starts.
LENGTH: Measure from the base of the neck (between the shoulder blades) to where the tail starts.

Sofi was a tiny 1 ˝ pound bundle of Yorkie energy when she came into my life in August of 2009. I had wanted a little companion for several years and now the timing was right. The remainder of that summer was spent learning to potty train Sofi ? I was as new to the process as she was! Book after book repeated the difficulty of potty training toy breeds but I hoped to accomplish it before winter set in. Well, winter came and I found myself outside in the freezing winter cold with Sofi shivering at my side. I set out to find a tiny coat to keep Sofi warm during our frequent outdoor potty sessions. After a disappointing and fruitless search, I decided to make my own coat. A simple fleece jacket was designed and made in three different sizes that winter. She was growing so fast! Then jackets were made for my son?s little dogs and dresses soon followed. My kids urged me to make and sell the dog clothes but it just wasn?t the right fit. I loved making dog clothes but the fun part was creating the patterns! I had worked 20+ years in the design industry specializing in kitchen design ? design was my passion. So I transferred my dog clothes designs from paper to computer and Sofi & Friends was born. I hope you enjoy browsing my pattern selections as much as I enjoy making them and I look forward to seeing photos of your little creations!
P.S. Sofi is now potty trained :)
