I spend my days working on a number of different creative endeavors. Sewing, graphic design, photography, interior design, crafting and more. If it's creative, I'm interested. I grew up in a very artsy household, learning to sew at the early age of 8 years old... scrunchies were my project of choice in those days! Now I love to combine all of my hobbies by designing sewing tutorials for other creative people to use and be inspired by.
When I'm not working, I'm out exploring the lesser known parts of Boston or eating at hip new restaurants. Or shopping. Or hiking. Or looking for an ever-elusive Boston street parking spot (preferably on the left - I love a good challenge). For more crafty inspiration, check out my blog: http://designfixation.blogspot.com
Give your pup some style! Bringing him to a party? Dress him up in this handsome bow tie. It attaches right onto his collar, and can be easily slipped on and off. It's great for female dogs as well... just attach it instead to the top of her collar like a bow.
Have a cat? The pattern can be scaled down in size to fit your kitty too!
My simple sewing tutorial will guide you through each step, and you can print out the pattern if you like. It is geared toward all skill levels (even beginners). All you need is an eighth of a yard of cotton fabric, 6 inches of thin elastic, scissors and a sewing machine.
Give it a try!
