This is an E-book with instructions on how to sew a 1930's redingote WITHOUT USING A PAPER PATTERN! The instructions are quite easy and will make sense to an intermediate or above sewing enthusiast. Instructions include how to make the coat to your exact measurements.
The term "Redingote" is a derivation of the French alteration of the English term "Riding Coat". The redingote has had any forms over the last 200 years but is usually characterized as a coat with a narrow belted waist and a somewhat flared hem. This pattern has those features including a cape-like sleeve.
You will be able to sew a complete garment using this E-booklet, no printing required!
This 1930's silhouette is slimming and very flattering. This pattern would be perfect for the costuming enthusiast or the fashion forward lady with her own unique style.
This pattern is from a 1930's publication that is in the public domain. The pattern has been adapted and digitized creating a new and original work.

I grew up in an antique shop surrounded by lovely vintage clothing and I guess vintage just stuck. Recently I took my passion for sewing and vintage lingerie and combined them into a vintage inspired pattern line offering hard to find pattern styles in digital form.
Please Note: There are no returns on digital patterns so please read the item description carefully before purchase.
