little skill level requirement Novice

  • You should have a knowledge of basic sewing terms (like knowing that darts are more than a weapon or a game).

Pattern Description:

Have you ever wanted to quickly sew up some aprons to give away as holiday gifts, birthday gifts, or hostess gifts...but you couldn't find an easy pattern that was still cute and feminine? Look no longer! This apron can be sewn in UNDER AN HOUR and takes just under ONE YARD of fabric! As part of my new U2RBAN Apron Collection (U2=Under 1 hour + Under 1 yard) this PDF pattern and tutorial will take you from start to finish in creating your own apron from fabrics that you choose. There are lots of detailed pictures and instructions to guide you along.

This ePattern includes:
*Materials and supplies lists
*Printable pattern pages
*7 pages of step-by-step layout, cutting, and sewing instructions
*30 full color instructional pictures and computer drawn illustrations
*BOTH customary unit (yards, inches, etc.) and metric unit (centimeters) measurements
*ALSO INCLUDES Pocket Pack 1 - a packet of PDF pocket patterns and instructions that you can use to change the look of the aprons you sew (a $4 value).

Please note, because of the nature of this item, pattern is not eligible for a refund. However, I do stand by my product. If you should happen to have a problem while sewing this apron, I'm more than happy to help you via emails.

This apron design was tested on a variety of shapes and sizes and would be categorized as a Small/Medium/Large (approximate off the rack dress sizes 2 to 22). It was made to fit the following measurements:
Bust - Between 30" and 46" (76cm and 96cm)
Waist - Between 22" and 38" (56cm and 81cm)
Hips - Between 30" and 46" (76cm and 96cm)

If you look at the second photo in the listing (with the green aprons), you can see how versatile and adjustable this apron is. The first picture shows the apron on a small/med dressform. The second shows the apron on a large/plus sized dress form. The third picture shows the apron on the same large dressform that's been expanded out as far as it will go. As you can see, it still looks cute on all three sizes!

(Please note that the claim that this apron can be made in under an hour is not a guarantee that it will be made in under an hour in every circumstance. Also, the claim only includes sewing time on the apron itself and does not include cutting time or the extra time it may take to sew the pocket - depending on which pocket you choose).
