Since retiring from my teaching career I've discovered that there is life outside of the classroom! I spend parts of most of my days indulging in my favorite hobbies of quilting and sewing. I started designing patterns as an experiment, and no one was more surprised than I was to find that other people liked my little designs. I try to write my patterns in such a way that beginning quilters can follow them. I include lots of details, photos, and little informative notes, so even if they look complicated, the instructions should be easy to follow.

Do you know someone who has crochet hooks in every size imaginable? My daughter does, and she asked me to design a case that has enough spaces to hold every one of them. This trifold case is the result.
Make one for yourself or fill it with hooks and little odds and ends for a special gift.
I added numerous special features to this case:
a loop handle that can slip over a wrist
an inner flap that drops down to cover hooks
15 generous spaces for crochet hooks in graduated sizes
a zippered pocket for the little essential odds and ends
a magnetic snap closure plus a button for added security
a plastic canvas insert to keep the shape firm so the case doesn't roll closed
Instructions are very detailed and the pages are filled with photos and diagrams to help with every step of the process. A tutorial for attaching binding to this project, quilts, mug rugs, and such is included. This method creates mitered corners and requires no hand stitching.
