My name is Georgianna. I live in the Midwest, a transplant from southern CA. I moved here with grand plans of having a small farm and having organic fruits, vegetables, chickens, eggs, etc. I have come a long way toward reaching my goal, but it is still a way off.
I am a registered nurse, having worked in telemetry and ICU. I am looking to get into a different kind of nursing that isn't so stressful.
I love crafting of all kinds, I love making soap, I also am quite addicted to genealogy, having traced my family to the Mayflower. I love to read, my favorite type of books for reading are biographies and other non-fiction books, especially anything related to historical events.
I am a fabricholic, I can't get enough. And I love to sew and make up patterns of new stuff. I have been sewing and making craft items for a very long time. I have sold many items locally at craft shows, and have dabbled a little with online sales, but I would like to pick that up a notch.
My philosophies in life are honest, clean wholesome living, giving a fair day's work for a fair day's pay. I cannot pass by someone in need and believe that I will also be helped when I am in need.
I wish all of us peace and harmony, health and happiness.

A sewing machine mat with a removable thread catcher is a absolute must in your craft room. And this one comes with a pin cushion too!
It is slightly padded. It has an organizer pouch that measures 10"x6" and has 6 pockets of various sizes to hold all kinds of sewing needs and keep them right on hand when needed. No more jumping up for something you forgot, just keep them in your organizer. I've got small scissors, tape measure, marking pen, pattern instructions, seam ripper and thread snips and there's still room for more.
There is a sweet little pin cushion that you can place where you want for convenience when sewing. It measures about 4"x4" and is made to look like a feedsack.
And then there is the very convenient and indispensable thread catcher. This thread catcher in lined and is slightly padded. It measures about 6"x6". And best of all it is removable so you can easily empty it.
