Hi Michelle, thanks for the pattern. I live in the UK and have no idea whatsoever what a 'normal' spiral notebook looks like! What size is it? Where is the spiral section - i.e. portrait or landscape?

It is unclear as to how to sew the pocket on. Are you stitching over the trim next to the zipper again?

Thank you for this patttern. I have an artistic daughter entering college, plus 3 more in lower grades. This will make a great gift to add to Christmas. I can easily personalize it with fabrics and embroidery. Thank you again for your generosity!

What a fun and practical project! My notebook was a different size so I followed all the steps and sizes as provided in the pattern, then right before the last step of stitching it all together I trimmed it down to fit my notebook and it worked perfectly! And its a great way to use those beautiful coordinating fat quarters!

Great project. The instructions were so easy to follow that I am going to buy all her patterns on her website. Chrissy

This project is wonderfully written. It stitched beautifully. My Daughter loves hers. I can't wait to try another project by Sew Michelle
