Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic sewing machine knowledge

Pattern Description:

This is not your typical spiral notebook cover. It has a lined zippered pocket on the front and no raw edges are exposed. The pattern is designed for beginners and is loaded with pictures to guide you step by step as you make your own spiral notebook cover.

You can add embroidery to your cover or use a themed fabric to make it uniquely yours.

This pattern would make great craft show projects.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Fits a normal spiral notebook. I purchased mine at Walmart and Target


  • 1/2 yard Coordinating Fabric
  • 1/2 yard Main Fabric
  • 1/2 yard Pellon Dcor Bond(tm) Stabilizer
  • 14" or longer zipper
  • 1 spool Matching or invisible thread
  • 1 package Pellon(r) Peel N Apply(tm) tape, cut into 1/4" strips (optional)
  • 1 yard Rick Rack
  • Spiral Notebook 8" x 10 1/2"

You Will Also Need:

  • Rotary Cutter
  • Mat
  • Pins
  • Normal Sewing Notions
  • Ruler
