Ready, set.. Passport Cover

Pattern Description:

I have been making passport covers for several years now and still find it to be a perfect little gift for a birthday, for a new baby, for a special person who's moving to a new country or for a friend who's planning a long holiday.

The passport cover is quick and easy to make and if you'd choose to use a busy cotton print instead of an appliqu it is an even faster project to complete!

You can easily adapt this tutorial to make covers for diaries or note books. Try to add ribbons or use the appliqu technique to write someone's name on the cover.

  • Sewing Machine
  • Pins
  • Iron
  • Scissors
  • Fabric Marker

You Will Also Need:

  • A fabric print you like for the appliqu.
  • Two contrasting cotton fabrics for the outside and the lining.
  • Double sided applique webbing
