Jake Teddy Bear

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • backstitching by hand

Pattern Description:

I designed this little Teddy Bear when I was asked to teach a class at the community collage. My students ranged in age from 9 years old to 70 something. I illustrated my pattern step by step so it would be easier for a beginner to work on. I was thrilled when the 9 year boy entered his bear from my class in the local fair and won first prize! We had a lot of fun so I just kept drawing up more characters my class requested for the next project.
