Screaming Mimi's Get Started Sewing Course is designed to provide the beginner with all of the information they need to get started sewing. This is the companion book to the course.
The book begins by going over the features, and functions of the sewing machine, and then goes through the basics every new sewer needs to know such as: how to read a pattern, how to choose fabrics, how to lay-out and cut patterns, and much, much more.
Although the booklet was designed as a companion piece for the "in-person" course as a means to allow the student to focus on learning instead of on taking notes, it's a valuable reference for anyone learning to sew.
