Pattern Description:

This little 1950s-inspired bib is quick to make and is a lovely gift for babies. It's incredibly practical because it fits like an apron and babies can't pull it off! Adding a cute contrast pocket (to catch food spills) is an optional extra.

Five page instruction book with colour photos.


  • 35cm (14") towelling
  • 35cm (14") main fabric
  • 25 -40 cm (10 -16") contrast fabric for binding
  • Thread to match your fabric
  • FOR THE OPTIONAL POCKET you will also need
  • 8cm (3 1/8") contrast fabric
  • 8cm (3 1/8") fusible, woven interfacing
  • 8cm (3 1/8") plain cotton fabric (to line the pocket
