Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic sewing machine understanding
  • patience for practice!

Pattern Description:

This is a really cool step by step guide to making your very own satin stitch/zig zag stitch appliques from your own drawings! This is also fantastic for using up scraps!

You can applique pretty much anything made from fabric ~ Clothing, bags, quilts & other home decor items, and so much more. The limit to what you can do with this knowledge is at the edge of your imagination!

This is the same exact method I use on all of the clothing I sell in my shop. :-)

*This tutorial is designed for use on a regular sewing machine with a zig zag or satin stitch. This is NOT for digitizing designs for computerized embroidery machines!

This tutorial includes instructions and tips for making beautiful single-fabric & multi-fabric layered appliques, and how to make fabric patches with that can be ironed on garments and bags once finished.

There are 44 pages with over 100 detailed, step-by-step photos to go along with in depth instructions for professional results.

This tutorial DOES NOT include design templates. It is meant to show you how to turn your own drawings and designs into fabric and thread art. You will see details of how I make the crescent moon, lotus, & owl you see in the 3rd image.

Once purchased, you can download this tutorial straight from Etsy. I cannot refund or digital files after purchase ~ sorry!

Thanks and happy stitching!
