Pattern Description:

The Stitchwerx Designs Coffee Cup Cozy (aka Java Jacket) is super fun & easy to make. This is a great gift for a teacher, friend or as a stocking stuffer. Two size templates are included so you can make cozies to fit 12-16 oz. cups or the large 20-24 oz. cups.

I also include instructions for 2 types of closures: Button or Velcro.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 2 templates included to fit 12-16 oz. cup or 20-24 oz. cup


  • Standard sewing machine
  • Basic sewing tools
  • Thread

You Will Also Need:

  • Cozy Front Fabric: 6" x 15" woven cotton
  • Cozy Back Fabric: 6" x 15" woven cotton
  • Fusible batting: 6" x 15"
  • 1 Hair Elastic (button closure version)
  • 1 Large Button (button closure version)
  • 1/2" or 5/8" wide Velcro (velcro closure version)
