This listing is for a sewing tutorial, NOT the actual diaper prefold shown. It is intended for use under a fitted cloth diaper..or alone inside of a waterproof cover.
The tutorial has directions for making prefolds in 2 sizes, small AND large.
Using your own fabric and nothing more than simple sewing skills, you will be shocked at how quickly you will be sewing up a whole stack of prefolds to use in cloth diapering your baby.
After many attempts at making prefolds for use with my baby, I got frustrated with all of the cutting and sewing, this tutorial is done using the minimum amount of both cutting and sewing without loosing any of the quality in construction or wear of the diaper. After many, many washes, they hold their shape, absorption, and stitches.
They are very absorbent without excessive bulk, as the center soaker part of the prefold is EIGHT layers thick.
They fit perfectly into diapers made using our fitted diaper tutorial as modeled in the photo used in this listing.

Adirondack Patterns is a collaboration between twin sisters Laura and Julia who's love of sewing and crafting for their children expanded into the creation of a store. Over the past 3 years, Adirondack Patterns has grown to include patterns and tutorials. All of the patterns and tutorials are very simple to follow and almost all of them have detailed photos for every step of the process.
