These booties are soft and sweet! They keep their shape very well. They wrap around the ankles so they will stay securely on baby's (and doll's) feet.
They are so easy to make - even for beginners! The top of the shoe is one piece. Wool felt is used for the lining of the sample shoes (acrylic felt can be used in place of the wool felt). Cotton fabric is used for the outside of the sample shoes. You can also use ultra suede, denim, chenille etc. The felt lining is fused to the fabric. Then the top and sole shapes are cut out and stitched. Shoes are tied with 3/8" to 5/8" ribbon.
