A fun and homey wall decoration for Fall or all year 'round! Requires intermediate sewing skills, and incorporates felted wool and those fun yo-yos! Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished size is approximately 12" x 19".

Materials:

  • One half yard (or two fat quarters) felted wool for owl body and wings.
  • One fat sixteenth (13" x 8") felted wool for owl nose/inner ears, and feet.
  • One fat quarter (22" x 18") plaid cotton homespun fabric.
  • Cotton quilt batting: 13" x 20" piece.
  • Embroidery flosses to match your wools.

You Will Also Need:

  • 3" x 5" piece double stick fusible web.
  • Two 1" buttons for eyes.
  • 1" plastic ring; quilting thread to match cotton fabric; freezer paper; iron; straight pins; sewing needles; scissors.
