Get started on your fall decorating and gift-making with these beautiful pumpkin bowls. This pdf format pattern is for a set of 2 original design fabric bowls. The set of 2 bowls fits into 2 fat quarters (18" x 21" pieces of fabric). Using contrasting pieces of fabric makes the bowls reversible for 2 separate looks.
These unusual fabric bowls are the perfect gift or decorating accessory for your home. They are lovely by themselves, or ideal for holding breads or rolls, snacks, candy, cookies, or decorating goodies.
They are easy and fun to make, and can be embellished with decorative stitching, trim, beads, etc. whatever you like to add as your own special touch.
The pattern contains complete written instructions with photos as well as actual size pattern pieces.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 4-pumpkin bowl - 11 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" high: 6-pumpkin bowl 11 1/2" high x 4" high


  • Sewing machine with 5.0mm wide zig-zag stitch
  • Scissors
  • Iron
  • Pencil
  • Posterboard, cardboard or plastic template
  • 2 contrasting fat quarters(2 pieces cotton fabric approx. 18" x 21")
  • 18" heavy 2-sided fusible interfacing, e.g. Peltex(r) 2-sided Fusible Ultra Firm Stabilizer or fast2fuse(r) Heavyweight interfacing
  • OR 18" heavy interfacing, e.g. TimtexTM Heavyweight and 1 yd. fusible web

You Will Also Need:

  • Size 14 machine needle
  • Machine embroidery thread, e.g. Coats and Clark 40 wt. Trilobal Polyester D75 or Sulky(r) 40 wt. Rayon 943
