This pillowcase pattern is super easy and fun. Great for a kids project or first-time sewing project.
Pillowcases make great gifts for kids along with a new book for nighttime reading. When my daughter graduated to a "big girl" bed we gave her a new pillow and a stack of pillowcases for every season/holiday during the year. Don't forget the adults too - my neice and her husband LOVED the flannel pillowcases with little VW bugs on them (their favorite car).
How about a favorite character or theme for the youngsters, favorite sport for the teen, school colors for the college student, or any holiday for all ages. Where else are you going to find a pillowcase for St. Patrick's Day or the Fourth Of July?
These pillowcases can be made out of a variety of fabrics but I prefer quality flannel. There's nothing like snuggling your face against nice soft flannel!
