Pattern Description:

The perfect Halloween decorating accessory! These ghost fabric bowls are ideal for holding trick-or-treat candy. The pdf format pattern is for a set of 2 original design fabric bowls. The set of 2 bowls fits into 2 fat quarters (18" x 21" pieces of fabric). two contrastng pieces of fabric are used which make the bowls reversible. They are easy and fun to make.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 4-ghost bowl 11" wide x 4"high; 6-ghost bowl 11" wide x 5" high

Materials:

  • Sewing machine with 5.0mm wide zig-zag stitch
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Iron
  • Posterboard, cardboard, or plastic template
  • 2 contrasting fat quarters (2 pieces cotton fabric approx. 18" x 21")
  • 18" havey 2-sided fusible interfacing, e.g.Peltex(r) 2-sided Fusible Ultra Firm Stabilizer or fast2fuse(r) Heavyweight Interfacing
  • OR 18" heavy interfacing, e.g. TimtexTM Heavyweight and 1 yd. fusible web

You Will Also Need:

  • Size 14 machine needle
  • Machine embroidery thread, e.g. Coats and Clark 40 wt. Trilobal Polyester D74 or Sulky (r) 40 wt. Rayon 943
  • Small round buttons (24 for 6-ghost bowl and 16 for 4-ghost bowl)
