Basic Skills Necessary:

  • cutting out a pattern
  • sewing curves & straight seams
  • ironing
  • overcasting with a zig zag stitch

Pattern Description:

You beginners can make this, with these easy step my step instructions with photos. Even kids can sew this, (with a little help on the curves)! 2 sizes included in instructions.
Great for holidays - Christmas. Can be used as a gift bag!

I write patterns mostly for beginners because, as a sewing teacher for 5 years, I've see the need for clear instructions with good diagrams/photos for beginners.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 2 sizes: 15 in long and 10 inch long


  • 1/3 yard or one fat quarter fabric for stocking
  • 1/4 yard or half of a fat quarter for cuff
  • thread
  • 4-6 inches of narrow ribbon
