I teach a lot of sewing classes and needed something for my beginners which teaches lots of skills but on the other hand isn't difficult to do. You will love both aprons because they have all the all important pockets for bits and pieces they are almost to nice, just for the kitchen.
As with all my patterns there are video instructions as well a booklet so just have a look if its for you and if it is then go for it.
The country apron is perfect for an afternoon of sewing. Make up a batch for your Christmas Bazaar or Fete. Team up with oven gloves and kitchen towels and it makes a super present or craft project.
The full apron with a whimsical bib is a little more challenging and will take considerably longer. Of cause you can just not do all the frills and just bind the edges, making this an equally fast and simple apron.
Whether you are an expert or just starting out the video tutorial will make it very clear what you have to do. If you are unsure if you can handle this pattern then simply watch the video to reassure yourself before you purchase the pattern. And for all those of you that love to keep all instruction neatly in a folder,my instructions booklet contains page after page with photo's just to make doubly sure you know what to do.
None of my patterns are multi sized so there is one size per file, this saves a lot of paper and confusion as to which line you have to cut.
Every pattern is hand drafted and then imported into a CAD program to make sure you have a pattern that fits and looks good too! No pattern is automatically graded or computer generated with software.

Sewing has always been my hobby and my profession. I first trained as a tailor as a young girl after which I worked for some fabulous designers. To fit work around my son I became a teacher of Textiles and Product Design. When my son finished school and moved to the USA I decided to start my own business and do what I love best; draft patterns and teach beginners and advanced sewers how to make their projects look professional. I hope you enjoy my patterns and instruction.View all patterns by designer (45) »
