Pattern Description:

This pattern is for the 2010 Prairie Moon Ranch Cowboy Christmas Stocking. There's a new one each year, so be sure and collect them all!

The 2010 boot is called "Prairie Paisley". Suitable for either a cowboy or a cowgirl, it features easy applique which you can do using your own favorite method, and a little bit of embroidery.

"Prairie Paisley" stands about 16" tall, and is about 10" wide at the widest point, is 5" wide at the mouth, and has a lined body (but is not lined clear into the toe part).

Complete instructions and full-sized templates are included.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 10" wide across bottom, 5" wide across top, 16" tall


  • beige fabric, 1 fat quarter
  • red fabric, 1 fat quarter
  • brown fabric, 6" x 12" piece
  • black fabric, 3" x 3" piece
  • embroidery floss, dark brown and red
  • 1/2 yard of lightweight fusible interfacing (optional)

You Will Also Need:

  • basic hand and machine sewing supplies
