Top or dress with curved front and back yokes and crossover surplice neackline. View A has gathered bracelet-length sleeves and hits at hip. View B is a a knee-length A-line dress with short gathered sleeves. Sleeve edge detail for both views echoes the surplice neckline.
Light to medium-light-weight fabrics like cotton voile, gauze or lawn, lightweight silk, rayon challis, lightweight linen.
Thread, 1/2" or 13 mm wide single fold bias tape, 1/4 yard of light-weight fusible interfacing for sleeve bands
Pattern is suitable for intermediate seamstresses, with detailed instructions and diagrams for every step of construction.
