Pattern Description:

This is a sewing pattern for a women's stretch knit dress and shirt with different neckline options. The pattern features flattering gathers under the bust and a fitted waistband. With the different neckline and sleeve options, you can create garments for any season.

View A is a sleeveless dress with a flared skirt and a split cowl. View B is a shirt with short subtly puffed sleeves and a regular cowl. View C is a shirt with elbow length or long sleeves and no cowl. These views can be mixed and matched to suit your style sense and personality.

*As of 9/20/16 - a new Peter Pan collar neckline option has been added to this listing. The listing includes a separate Peter Pan Collar piece PDF and Peter Pan Collar Instructions.*

This listing includes the following:

- PDF of the pattern in Letter/A4** format. Each page includes frame lines and triangles for easy matching and assembly.

- PDF of the pattern in copy shop format (36"x72" sheet for large format printers)

- PDF with detailed instructions. The instructions include cutting layouts, sewing tips, short and sweet versions of instructions, detailed photo assembly instructions, a detailed pattern measurement breakdown and metric conversions.

This pattern is designed for use with moderate stretch knits only, such as Jersey or ITY. Fabric should stretch 25-35 percent cross grain, meaning that 4 inches of material should stretch to 5 or 5.25 inches, at least. However, you can probably get away with using knits that have 20% stretch. The samples were made using two jersey knits of different weights and a pique knit (the dress). The pique knit provides an example of how the garment will look with a much stiffer knit. A stiffer knit is really ideal for achieving a split cowl that stands up.

Verity is drafted for a C-D pattern cup (3"-4" difference between high bust and full bust).

The pattern files contain ONLY sizes XXS-L (see second image for measurement details), but there is an XL-8X version coming soon.

Please see for more information about the pattern, more photos of the finished garments, and future variation examples and tutorials.

**The pattern comes in letter size but should work for A4 too. Page settings on printer must be changed to letter before printing, and the pages scaling must be set to "no scaling". If that does not work try the "borderless printing" option in your print settings.
