I really don't know how to use a digital pattern. I only have a cheap printer. can you send me a pattern in the mail?

Hi Marie! Unfortunately, we only carry digital patterns. However, it's very easy to use these and your home printer is just fine.

A PDF pattern is a digital sewing pattern. After it has been saved to your computer, it can be printed over and over for every size you wish to sew. The size range is generally many times larger than that of paper patterns.

All our patterns are fully color-coded and fit together seamlessly. After printing, you tape your pages together using the included chart. They come together easily, so you will be ready to start sewing quickly.

Every PDF pattern includes very specific and detailed step-by-step instructions and color pictures to help you out on every part of the tutorial, and not leave you guessing.

Our patterns are created to accommodate customers all over the world, and will print on both US sized paper as well as A4 paper.

Seam allowances are always already included in our patterns.

The fabric requirments state that if it were all one fabric it would take much less fabric. So, if I were going to make it in 2 colors for 2 girls (sz 5), could I just purchase enough fabric for 1 dress 2 colors?

I would not recommend getting less than stated unless you can easily get more of your chosen fabric :) Enjoy the project!

I am in love with this dress! I have made three so far, one for each of my nieces. It takes a lot of fabric but is fairly simple and the results are stunning. Highly recommend. Check out the Candy Castle Patterns Facebook group for support and tons of cute photos!

Here is the link to the yardage chart on their main page. I found with mine it was more than enough fabric. I had leftover with all of them. Hope that helps!
