This skirt is a playful, frolicky showstopper to spruce up any day. Falling to knee-length, it makes for a modest, frilly skirt that is suitable for every day wear.
With a flat front and an elasticized back, there is plenty of room for showcasing your most gorgeous buttons or snaps. Functional buttons allow for an easy on and off. All instructions to create either an adjustable waist with buttonhole elastic or a regular elastic waist are both included!
Pair this skirt with a plain tee, an applique tee or a fun collar shirt, and your little girl will be the star of the show in her frilly skirt!
This skirt is fully lined and can be made in either quilting cottons or lightweight to mid-weight denim, or any other woven fabric you would like. The ruffles can be created from any kind of lightweight fabric; on top of that, we have also included instructions to create a skirt trimmed with lace!
The smallest sizes 6-12m and 12m fall above the knee to accommodate for crawling babies. A diaper cover, matching bloomers, or a onesie is recommended.
The instructions to create a ruffle flower to embellish the skirt are included, too.
