Pattern Description:

This pattern is great for beginners. Even if you have never touched a sewing pattern before, you can make this one! Elastic waistband and a low-rise fit (1" below the waist line) make this skirt conveniently comfortable. Create any look with this skirt. Depending on your fabric choice, make it casual or dress it up. It's all yours! Falls below the knee.

This is a LEVEL 1 pattern.
Level 1 is for the one who has never sewn, but has a good understanding of how her sewing machine works.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Ladies Size Small- X-Large
  • Hip sizes 35" - 46"
  • To find the measurement for your hips, wrap a flexible measuring tape around the fullest part of your hip area.

Materials:

  • 2 yards of fabric (for skirt)
  • 1/2 yard of fabric (for sash)
  • 1 yard of 1/2" wide elastic
  • matching thread
  • scissors
  • pins
  • iron
  • Suggested Fabric: 45" wide broadcloth or quilting type fabric
