Pattern Description:

This simple pillowcase dress is so sweet and easy to make! It comes in seven sizes - 6 months, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. A ribbon or fabric tie is inserted through the casing at the top of the dress and tied on one or both sides. Detailed instructions are included for making the fabric ties and finishing the seams. Dress can be made from two fabric rectangles (photographed on last page of the instructions) or dress can be made with or without the apron, from four fabric rectangles (plus a rectangle for the apron). A vintage doily, hand towel or handkerchief will look beautiful on the front of the dress in place of the apron rectangle - if the vintage piece is too wide, you can trim the sides or make two pleats in the top before you attach it to the dress.

The dress can be worn alone or it will look adorable with a coordinating t-shirt (long or short sleeves), turtleneck or onesie, along with tights or pants underneath the dress. You can also make a shorter version of the dress for a cute shirt! Medium weight cotton fabrics were used for sample dresses.

This seven page PDF e-pattern includes measurements for dress, a detailed materials list, clear instructions written in English and step-by-step photographs.
