Pattern Description:

I wanted to create a shirt to match the capris that I made for my daughter...something quick and easy, and used what I had left over from making the pants.

This project is great for brightening up a plain t-shirt or to cover up stains on a well-loved, favourite shirt.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sizing depends on width of strip cut/size of shirt.

Materials:

  • Fabric -- need less than 1/8 yard
  • T-shirt -- either new, or a great way to change the look of one you have!

You Will Also Need:

  • Thread
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Rotary Cutter and Mat (opt.)
  • Fabric Marking Pen
  • Pins
  • Sewing Machine
  • Serger (opt. -- can also zigzag seams to finish)
  • Iron/Ironing Board
