Pattern Description:

Megan's Baby Bird Dress

Please note this prints on A4 paper only, for US letter format please view the listing, Megan's Baby Bird Dress European A4 PDF Pattern.

Your girl will love this dress which can be worn all year round. It's very easy to make and uses no difficult techniques. It has side pockets with polka dot trim and the cutest baby bird appliqu. I love mixing up different fabrics. For the lining I used a turquoise cotton fabric and the outer material is a fine needle cord. Why not try the dress in denim with a colourful or patterned contrast fabric. I can't wait to try more myself and show you here and on my website.
I would dress this one with colourful tights and a long sleeved turtle neck t-shirt. Then your girl will be comfortable as well as fashionable. As a thank you the pattern also includes the template for the mama duck which is super cute and easy to do.

I have also included three pictures send to me by customers who made the dress. I totally love the Michael Miller fabric which tells a story, without any appliqu. Beth opted for a mushroom on her dress amongst many other motifs and Holly is fashionable in a beautiful fine cord.

Whether you are an expert or just starting out the video tutorial will make it very clear what you have to do. If you are unsure if you can handle this pattern then simply watch the video to reassure yourself before you purchase the pattern. And for all those of you that love to keep all instruction neatly in a folder,my instructions booklet (attached to size 2) contains page after page with photo's just to make doubly sure you know what to do. And as a little bonus you also get the mama duck appliqu into the bargain.

The pattern is available for immediate download so you can get started straight away.

Your pattern comes with all the sizes - 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6
None of my patterns are multi sized so there is one size per file, this saves a lot of paper and confusion as to which line you have to cut.

Every pattern is hand drafted and then imported into a CAD program to make sure you have a pattern that fits and looks good too! No pattern is automatically graded or computer generated with software. Having trained as a tailor 30 years ago I know that pattern generating software can never replace the skill of a pattern drafted by hand. Try my patterns and you will love the fit. No loose armholes that are cut too low or sleeves that hang of the shoulder.

The pattern pack includes:
A pattern in PDF format ready to print on regular A4 paper with assembly instructions
Detailed step by step photo tutorial
Detailed video instructions on You Tube http://youtu.be/lYEvH6SiOeM
