I've made three pairs of these pants for myself so far and they are my favorite! I love the comfortable flow and flattering drape of the fabric. I feel I can easily dress them up for office wear or pair them with a sports bra or cropped top for dance class.
All stretch fabrics behave differently. It is important to choose a size generously and then take in as needed so that you don't end up making pants that are too small because the fabric stretches less than planned.
These pants are designed to ride lower on the hips. If you prefer a higher rise, you can cut the waist band on the fold so that instead of 5.5" tall it is double that. This higher top can be folded, gathered or slouched for a different look.
