My mother and I made my first sewing project when I was 5: a drawstring purse out of a beautiful butterfly-print cotton. Years later, I'm still sewing, and I love to share my designs with others. My patterns and tutorials use couture techniques I studied in the fashion design program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I lived for 3 years in Paris, and Atelier Joy designs are inspired by the beautiful Parisian lifestyle. All tutorials include feminine details and couture techniques made easy with step-by-step instructions and photos. Use them to sew beautiful pieces that will last a lifetime.

Bonjour! Sew yourself a little pixie top. Or make it a dress or tunic. All three styles feature a shirt-tail hem slightly longer in back and a yoke with a peter pan collar.
The dress is above-the-knee length with an optional elasticized waist.
The tunic ends just below the hip and has an optional elasticized waist.
The top ends just below the waist.
This listing is for a digital PDF tutorial and patterns for the Bridget style dress/top/tunic. The tutorial includes step-by-step instructions with detailed photographs of the process. The pattern includes instructions for printing and assembling the patterns. The patterns can be printed on US size letter paper or A4 size paper. The files will be available for immediate download following your purchase.
Please see the photographs for size chart and fabric yardage.
You may use the pattern to make and sell garments but please do not copy or distribute my tutorial or pattern. I would appreciate a reference to Atelier Joy on any items that you make using this. Please respect the work that went into making this tutorial and pattern.
