About the Designer
I started out as so many of us did, hand stitching scraps into doll clothes. Later, my father encouraged me by promising that if I made clothes on my mom's idle Singer, that he would buy me materials for one project at a time. When it was finished, I could get another. (Clearly that lesson of finishing before starting another never really took!) I love sewing, designing, handwork, pattern ...

I love sewing, designing, handwork, pattern making... and I especially love that my daughter MollyKate is my website partner, Official Tester and inspiration; my granddaughter is a "nouveau sewist"; and that I am blessed with creative, great friends in our Sew Fun Club and new friends through Craftsy.
