Basic Skills Necessary:

  • use a sewing machine
  • install a zipper

Pattern Description:

An old men's tweed sports coat was the inspiration for this easy iPad cover. It sports the elbow patch and a metal zipper to add to the touch. It's simple to integrate the other pockets and details from the coat. The zipper turns the corner for quick access.

From one men's coat you may be able to make 2 or 3 iPad covers!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 8"x10"

Materials:

  • wool tweed 1/3 yd
  • fat quarter of interior fabric
  • scissors
  • sewing machine
  • iron

You Will Also Need:

  • coordinating thread
  • 16" sturdy metal zipper
