Pattern Description:

Do you know someone that loves trains? Use this PDF sewing pattern to make them a train engineer hat! This hat is easy to sew. The e-book is 17 pages with 35 color pictures to guide you through the step by step instructions. As a bonus this pattern/tutorial also includes instructions and templates to make the railroad crossing and train silhouette patches you see in the photos. This pattern is professionally CAD drawn.
The sizes included range from infant to the average adult. Measure head for best fit.
Sizes are: (head circumference)
XXS 16-17", XS 17-18", S 18-19", M 19-20", L 20-21", XL 21-22", XXL 22-23"

Materials:
Fabric suggestions: Medium to Heavy weight cotton/cotton blends, Denim, Corduroy, etc.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sizes are: (head circumference) XXS 16-17", XS 17-18", S 18-19", M 19-20", L 20-21", XL 21-22", XXL 22-23"

Materials:

  • 1/2-3/4 yard for Outer fabric
  • 1/2-3/4 yard for Lining fabric
  • 1/8-1/4 yard heavy double-sided fusible interfacing, I use Pellon(r) Peltex 72F.
  • 1 1/2" long piece of 1/2" wide (for smaller sizes) to 3/4" wide (for larger sizes) Elastic
