Pattern Description:

A great little pocket size pouch. Tuck in a phone, camera, IPod & earphones, credit cards or lip gloss, etc. Recycle a cast-away men's tie, or create your own version of this accessory with cotton fabric - just fold and stitch. Close it with a grommet and elastic closure, or a sew-in magnetic snap. Approximate size of the cotton version is 6" high by 4" wide. The men's tie version will vary in size depending on the width of tie you start with.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sizes S - 2XL


  • Man's Tie Version = One recycled man's tie, preferably very wide
  • Fabric Version = 1/3 yard of 44" wide fabric for exterior, 1/3 yard of 44" wide fabric for lining
  • For grommet closure= One 1" inner diameter grommet by Dritz, One 12" long piece of 1" wide elastic
  • For snap closure= One sew-in magnetic snap by Ghee's , One 6" square piece of Stitch'N'Shape interfacing
