THIS IS AN ECO-FRIENDLY, NO-PATTERN-PIECE PATTERN. All pieces are measured and cut according to the included measurements.

The You Go, Girl! Backpack is the perfect bag for your teen or preteen to take her things wherever she's headed for the day. This bag features a stylish elasticized top and straps that adjust in a cinch by tying and untying them from loops at the bottom of the bag. The flap at the top of the back is fastened with a magnetic snap. The finished size of this bag is 14" wide by 17" long.

Cotton wovens (quilting fabric and bottomweights)
Fusible Interfacing - 1 yard
1 - 5/8" Magnetic Snap
3/8" Elastic - 1/2 yard

The You Go, Girl! Backpack is part of the Go Fish Pattern Series by Fishsticks Designs. These "instant gratification" projects are designed with the busy sewist in mind. Each project is simple and straightforward and can be finished in just a few hours. All of the Go Fish patterns are sewn with basic rectangles that are cut with your quilting mat and rotary cutter using the included measurements.
